The Development of Competency Standards for employees in Maritime Industry
The Development of Competency Standards for employees in Maritime Industry

The establishment of Occupational Competency Standard and Competency Model is based on the IPO competence development model. It employs analysis methods such as interviews, secondary data analysis, and expert focus group discussions to study the competency analysis. The project has generated the “Competence Standard of Tower Technician for Offshore Wind Farm”, “Standard of Tower Technician for Offshore Wind Farm”, “Competency Standard of Offshore Coating Engineer”, “Competence Standard of Competence Standard of Remote Operated Vehicle Pilot and Super ”, and “Competency-Based Course for Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk in Offshore Wind Industry”.
Chinese edition of Ocean Science SequenceOcean Science Sequence(OSS), G3-G5
National Academy of Marine Research (NAMR) and National Museum of Marine Science (NMMST) & Technology have collaborated to introduce the Ocean Science Sequence (OSS) developed by Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley. NAMR and NMMST created Chinese textbooks for Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8. In addition, we host OSS seed teacher workshops to help education professionals enhance their knowledge of marine science and cultivate students' ocean literacy.

The design of digital teaching materials of Coast Guard Shipbuilding
The design of digital teaching materials of Coast Guard Shipbuilding

In order to enhance the research and development of professional techniques and construction theory in the field of shipbuilding in our country, particularly considering the characteristics of coast guard vessels, we systematically elaborate on the four fundamental aspects of shipbuilding engineering. These include Planning of Ship, Stability of Ship, ship structure, and ship propulsion. We have collaborated with Center for Continuing Education, National Cheng Kung University to create digital teaching materials for the promotion of continuing education.
