Marine mammal volunteer trainging course

This project collects the laws and regulations regarding the handling of stranded whales in
Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines, and America. In addition, to compare and contrast
them, suggestions for amendments are proposed regarding the doubts about the laws and
regulations encountered when rescuing stranded whales in Taiwan. Short-term and long-term plans
were drafted to complete the guidelines for the ecological protection of whales.

Regarding educational promotion, in addition to sponsoring one marine mammal volunteers

training course and two seminars on rescuing dolphins and whales; it also hosted the 3 Asia
Marine Mammal Stranding Network Symposium & Workshops. In addition, it signed an MOU
